father's day 2013

In a long list of activities in my 68 years nothing was more fun than the birth of children, mine had to head the list. From wisconsin to colorado, children i fathered were born to my wife(God bless her forever)and myself. I just want it to be said plainly that my kids benefitted from a great mother who i loved early on even more from the moment my grandmother(mabel creagan dillon)showed by her tremendous body language how much she approved of my future wife on our 1 visit to their house before being married.  Mabel creagan dillon had 3 beautiful full irish daughters, but marilyn lee was more beautiful than them all in my eyes and still is today. It is a great joy to see in my children the characteristics they received from their mother and also quite lovely to see it in the grandchildren as well.  Marilyn is a great mother and i was proud to be married to her 45 years ago yesterday and i remember how lucky i am every father's day because she was the reason for my being a father.  She is the best mother children could ever have and equally as well a wonderful grandmother. thanks Marilyn for saying "I do" 45 yrs ago yesterday   love, Michael Edward Charles Dillon,M.D.
